Video tutorials for production

Your own experts show the process once. From that, a cut, multilingual and approved instruction is created automatically — without a film crew and without editing software.

Starting point

Video is the best format. Until now it was simply too much effort.

No one disputes that a video explains more than ten pages of text. Until now it failed on the making of it: record, cut, voice, translate, approve. That is exactly the effort Kraka removes.

No documentation team

The people who really know the process have neither the time nor the appetite for camera and editing.

Three attempts per video

A slip of the tongue, the wrong angle, an interruption. Usually it's recorded several times before one version is usable.

The raw material is unusable

Machine noise, waiting times, the camera pointing at the wall. Uncut, no one watches it.

Not audit-ready

A video on a drive is not proof. It lacks version, approval and history.

01 · Recording

Recorded in a few minutes

The person who knows the process films it. No film crew, no script, no preparation: the colleague runs through the process the way they always do and says what they're doing. Once is enough.

Way 01 · Smartphone

Record with the Kraka app

Start recording, show the process, stop recording. The smartphone's microphone is enough, because the audio track is cleaned up automatically anyway.

Your effortRun through once
Way 02 · Action cam

Hands-free at the machine

When both hands are needed, an action cam simply runs along. One button, nothing more to operate, and no one has to hold the camera.

Ramp-up and shutdown of the line
Shift handover
Hygiene and occupational safety

Knowledge from colleagues before retirement
and everything else that today is only passed on by word of mouth
02 · Processing

An ordinary recording becomes a high-quality tutorial

This is exactly the work no one else takes off your hands. Kraka processes the raw video automatically — without editing software, without re-recording, without an agency.

03 · Adjust

Change by saying, not by cutting

A term is wrong, a step is missing, a phrase should read differently. You describe the change in a sentence instead of re-recording the video.

Your instructionIn this tutorial, replace “assembly” with “work instruction”, in the step names and in all languages too.
KrakaDone. 9 steps in 6 languages were adjusted. The change is available as a new version and is waiting for your approval.
What that makes possible
Standardise terminology

Align machine names, technical terms and wording in a single pass.

Add content

Insert a note, rename a step, correct an order.

Without re-recording

No one has to go back to the machine, and no one opens an editor.

04 · Result

A tutorial everyone understands and that holds up in an audit

The result is not a video file on a drive but a controlled document: with version, approval and a traceable history.

What makes it proof
Versioning

Every version is kept. It's provable who worked to which version and when.

Multi-step approval

Create, review, approve — with the roles your process defines. Nothing reaches the shop floor unchecked.

Every step editable on its own

If one action changes, that single step is replaced. The rest of the instruction stays in place.

History
Who changed what and when stays traceable
Validity
Versions with dates, old ones stay findable
Roles and rights
Creation, review and approval cleanly separated
Acknowledgement
Documented who has seen the valid version

And that in over 30 languages

Translation and voice-over are created with the tutorial. Whoever operates the machine understands the instruction — regardless of how good their German is. The original voice remains switchable at any time.

05 · Reuse

Record once, deliver everywhere

The same recording becomes everything your operation needs at that point — without anyone reworking it a second time.

Training in the LMS

As a course with quiz and proof, in Kraka or in your existing system.

Work instruction as a document

Illustrated step-by-step instruction to post or file.

QR code at the machine

Scan and see straight away how it's done — right where the question comes up.

One recording

The tutorial

One recorded process, six ways to make it available where it's needed.

Answer in the AI chat

The knowledge from the tutorial becomes searchable — as an answer in the employee's language.

Internal video portal

All tutorials in one place, with permissions per area, role and site.

Process file (BPMN)

The recorded process as a model, ready to plug into your process documentation.

Frequent questions

What operations want to know before the first recording

Who records the processes?
Your own people — the ones who already master the process. No script and no preparation are needed: run through it once the way you always do and say what you're doing. Everything else happens after uploading.
Do we need special equipment?
A smartphone is enough for most recordings. If both hands need to stay free, an action cam runs along instead. Which devices work well in your environment we discuss during onboarding.
What happens if the recording isn't good?
That's exactly what the processing is for. Background noise is removed, waiting times are trimmed, unusable passages are cut out. A recording doesn't have to be good, it has to show the process.
Can we edit the result afterwards?
Fully. Steps can be renamed, reordered, individually replaced or deleted; texts and voice-over are editable. For content changes a one-sentence instruction is enough, no new recording is needed.
How does approval work?
Through a multi-step process with the roles your operation defines: create, review, approve. Only then is a version visible on the shop floor, and every previous version remains traceably preserved.
How do the tutorials reach the employees?
Through the reuse paths: as an assigned course in the LMS, as a printed or posted work instruction, via QR code right at the machine, through the internal video portal with permissions, or as an answer in the AI chat.
